Terms & Conditions

Last updated 3 August 2026

Placeholder terms. This text sets out our intended terms in plain language. It has not been reviewed by a lawyer and must be replaced with terms drafted for your jurisdiction before launch.

1. What TattooArt is

TattooArt is a directory and community platform. We introduce people to tattoo artists and studios. We are not a party to any tattooing agreement — that is strictly between you and the artist or studio you book.

2. Your account

You must be old enough to form a contract where you live. Keep your password secure and tell us if you think your account has been accessed by someone else. You are responsible for activity under your account.

3. Bookings

A booking request is a request, not a confirmed appointment. It becomes an appointment only once the artist or studio confirms it. Cancellation terms, deposits and final pricing are set by the artist or studio, not by us. Prices shown on the site are indicative.

4. Content you post

You keep ownership of what you upload. By posting it you give us permission to display it on the platform. Only upload work that is yours or that you have permission to share, and don't post anything unlawful, hateful, or that identifies someone without their consent.

5. Artists and studios

If you list on the platform, you confirm that you hold the licences, registrations and insurance required where you operate, that your portfolio shows your own work, and that your pricing and availability are accurate. We may remove listings that don't meet this.

6. Moderation

We may remove content, suspend accounts, or refuse listings where these terms are broken. Where practical we'll tell you why.

7. Health and safety

Tattooing is permanent and carries medical risk. Follow your artist's aftercare instructions and seek medical advice if something goes wrong. We do not provide medical advice.

8. Liability

We provide the platform as-is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for the work, conduct, or cancellation policies of any artist or studio listed here. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

9. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced on the site, and the date at the top of this page will change.
